The annual awards luncheon of the South Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce met yesterday to recognize busnesses that excel in several areas of performance. The Tahoe Clinic was nominated for outstanding customer service. The Tahoe Clinic has been in business in this city for 33 years, with a perfect safety record. Patients receive a house-call the evening of surgery and again the next morning by Dr. Foster. They also receive his personal cell-phone number with permission to call 24/7 with any concerns. Out-of town patients that are here alone are chaufeuered from the airporter terminal to the clinic, to the motel and back again. Many are delivered hot meals in their rooms by the doctor and the staff. The Tahoe Clinic has been performing skin cancer excisions on seniors without charge for over a decade.
