Several thousand adults in costume attended the annual Freaer's Ball at Mt. Blu Casino saturday night. Some costumes were very elaborate, some very skimply and some very gory. It never ceases to amaze me the every year many come as doctors & nurses! The nurses outfits are getting more and more revealing. The most popular theme actually is skin! And a lot of skin there was inspite of below freezing temperatures outside. There were 4 party venues and costume contests at two of them. The Harrah's Vex Club gave a valuable prize for the sexiest costume and guess who took third place? It was a 54 yr. old, long time Tahoe Clinic patient who won over dozens of 20 somethings! The winners were decided by audience applause and she got a lot of it. The party goes on all night long because the bars never close in Nevada. But they are therefore more strict about DUI in Nevada so the taxis were busy all night.
